Biltong
Biltong is a form of dried, cured meat that originates from South Africa. Biltong starts with beef chunks being soaked in a bath of vinegar, salt, and spices for an extended period of time, this process cures the meat. After the meat is cured it is then hung up to air dry. The chunks of beef are dried for up to a week and then taken down and sliced into thin, soft strips.
